Q. What is Generation FREE?
A. Generation FREE is Mississippi's youth-led movement against Big Tobacco fueled by teens across the state. This means you! FREE is one of two tobacco prevention programs of The Partnership for a Healthy Mississippi. For more information on The Partnership, visit www.healthy-miss.org.

Q. Why even go after the tobacco companies?
A. Mainly because the tobacco companies have been going after you for decades. In order to replace the 1,200 people that their products kill every day, they put tons of cash into creating "replacement smokers" (their cozy nickname for you). Something about this just makes us want to fight back.

Q. So what can I do?
A. Whatever you want to spread the FREE message! Send text messages, post blogs, pass out fliers... the list goes on. You can also start or join a FREE team!

Q. What is a FREE team?
A. A FREE team is a group of five or more teens who work together to fight against Big Tobacco. Teams can be formed in other clubs and organizations like BETA Club or Student Council or you can just get four of your friends (and a sponsor!) to start a team.

Q. Do I have to join a FREE team?
A. No. There are benefits of joining a FREE team (like more incentives), but you can also help out and receive incentives by doing something as simple as logging on to Facebook and leaving comments on your friends' profile pages. Go to our Fight Back page for more information!
